David G. Miller, M.D.

Dr. David G. Miller graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Chemistry from Ohio State University. He then received his MD degree from the University of Cincinnati. He completed a residency in ophthalmology at the Indiana University Medical Center
and a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery and diseases at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary of Harvard University.

Dr. Miller is Board-certified in ophthalmology. He is a member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retinal Specialists, the American Eye Study Club, and the Ohio Ophthalmological Society, and he is past president of the Cleveland Ophthalmological Society. In 2011, he was listed in Best Doctors in America.

Dr. Miller’s clinical expertise encompasses the full spectrum of vitreoretinal diseases and surgery. His principal areas of interest are diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, and macular degeneration. He is also actively involved in clinical research with his colleagues at Retina Associates of Cleveland, a practice with eight vitreoretinal physicians who provide specialized care at offices throughout northeastern Ohio. Dr. Miller and his associates are investigators in numerous national clinical trials, including studies of new drugs, new applications of drugs already in use, and new laser and surgical treatments. Dr. Miller is the author of several articles and book chapters and gives lectures on vitreoretinal diseases and treatment both to the public and to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
