Dr. Gordon graduated from Miami University in 2002 with a bachelors in Zoology and completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at The Ohio State University in 2006. She followed up her education with a Residency in Ocular Disease from the Louis B. Stokes, Cleveland VA Medical Center. It has been a distinct pleasure of her career to take care of the ocular and visual needs of Veterans at the Akron VA Outpatient Clinic. Her experience at the VA has given her the abilities and knowledge to treat a wide range of ocular disease, while providing primary eye care. Dr. Gordon has spent 10+ years educating Optometry externs from the Ohio State University College of Optometry, Illinois College of Optometry and Salus University College of Optometry, which provides her with the skills to educate and help patients understand their visual needs and eye health. Dr. Gordon lives in the Brecksville area with her husband Jonathan, son Emerson, and dog Hattie. She enjoys hiking in the local parks, traveling and spending time with her family. In her spare time, she likes to knit and read.
